CUNY Dominican Studies Institute Library

The Library of the CUNY Dominican Studies Institute officially opened in 1994. It is a unique reference collection whose mission is to identify, acquire, organize, preserve and make available bibliographical sources documenting the Dominican experience in the United States and in the rest of the world. The Dominican Library is headed by Chief Librarian and Professor Sarah Aponte.

Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership included in their newsletter At A Glance a note about our recently launched website  A History of Dominican Music in the United States , the first open-source digital platform narrating the history of Dominican music as it developed during the past century in the United States.
